Four devices make a site.
InSight Mesh is built on Teltonika's Wirepas Mesh range. A site needs tags on what is tracked, anchors on the building, and one gateway to reach the platform.

- Battery tags and battery anchors
- A Wi-Fi gateway

The range.
| Device | What it is | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| EYE Beacon Mesh | A small battery tag that the mesh locates. | On a person, a pallet, a trolley, a tool or a piece of equipment. |
| EYE Sensor Mesh | A tag that also reports temperature and humidity. | On stock that must stay cool, or inside a cold room. |
| Mesh Anchor | A fixed, battery-powered point of reference. | On walls, columns and racking, at places marked on the floor plan. |
| Mesh Gateway Wi-Fi | The link between the mesh and the platform. | Anywhere on the site with power and Wi-Fi. |
How many anchors a floor needs depends on its size and what stands in it. Send us the plan and we will work it out with you.
Why a mesh.
In an ordinary wireless network every device has to reach a central point. In a Wirepas mesh the devices pass messages along from one to the next until they arrive at a gateway. That is why anchors can run on batteries and be mounted without cabling, and why one gateway can serve many anchors.
It is also why a site can grow. More floor to cover means more anchors, added to the mesh that is already there.
Hardware and platform, from one enquiry.
Tell us what the first site looks like and we answer with the hardware it needs, alongside the platform it will report to.
- Floor plans, or the rough size of each floor
- What is to be tracked, and roughly how many
- Whether cold rooms or restricted areas matter
